FREEDOM FROM FAWNING

A somatic journey to recover from chronic people pleasing and guide you back to your needs, your boundaries and your core self

Who would you be if the world didn’t already tell you who you should be?

Imagine what it would feel like if you weren’t always saying yes even when you wanted to say no. Imagine what it might be like to get to have more trust in your self, more choice in your life, and more power in your body.

Imagine.

What would it be like to see your body as an ally rather than an enemy?

To show up in relationships connected to yourself rather than abandoning who you are?

To have tools to turn to when you get triggered instead of having to become a version of yourself you don’t want to be?

To feel empowered and boundaried in your body? What would it be like?

This is what is possible through Freedom From Fawning

What is Freedom From Fawning?

A 5-module self-paced course that takes you on a journey of healing from self abandonment, people pleasing, over-riding your needs and anxiously showing up as anyone but your true self. Freedom From Fawning isn’t about being free from our inner fawn forever, but finding freedom from the inner belief that fawning is the only way to source safety.

But more importantly, Freedom From Fawning is a reclamation of your power. It’s a process of re-igniting your own inner fire by learning to re-access choice, agency and boundaries within your body so you can be boldly YOU while feeling strong, centered, and grounded within.

WHAT IS FAWNING?

The trauma response no one talks enough about.

The Fawn Response is how our body learns to survive when fighting, fleeing, or shutting down isn't safe. Like a deer in the woods might tuck their tail and bat their eyes to appear innocent and cooperative, we too learn to play small in the face of threats.

But in our society, fawning isn't just a trauma response -it's how we're taught to be good. We're praised for being agreeable, easy-going, always smiling and nodding. The fawn response becomes interwoven into how we connect with others.

But it can only be sustained for so long before we begin to feel the weight of our suppression inside…

What Makes This Course Different?

This isn't a course that will simply tell you to "have better boundaries" or to "change your mindset." This also isn’t a course about getting rid of or fixing your fawn response, it’s about relating with it in a new way to find freedom from chronic cycles of self abandonment and people pleasing.

This is a somatic journey of meeting your body in gentle and loving ways, rediscovering what it gets to feel like to explore who you are and how you want to be, and reclaiming your right to anger, boundaries, and empowerment in your body.

Inside the course, you will be led through 5 phases of self-discovery, nervous system support, somatic healing and boundary work to begin renegotiating your relationship to yourself and your body.

This goes beyond people pleasing, this is a rediscovery of who you get to be without the world telling you who you should be

If I have taken your other courses, will there be a lot of overlap?

Freedom From Fawning is a brand new course and does not offer the same curriculum as my other courses. Aside from the few exercises that may be familiar from other programs, FFF has no overlap to any other course.

It’s time to meet your needs, your boundaries and your core self.

You've spent so long taking care of everyone else. It’s time to take care of you.

Meet Your Guide

Hi, I’m Lexy Florentina. I’m a trauma trained Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with a background in psychology, nervous system regulation, and attachment repair.

But with the professional work aside, I am first and foremost a human who has experienced complex trauma, childhood trauma, chronic health challenges and attachment trauma. As your instructor and space holder for this program, I come with empathy for and understanding of what it’s like to feel completely stuck in relationships with others and with myself. I spent most of my life trying to belong, trying to be chose and longing to be understood in a world that often felt unsafe to me. I know the cycle of people pleasing, of self doubt, of suppressing my anger and overriding my boundaries so much so that it contributed greatly to my 10+ years of chronic pain.

Through my own healing journey, my years of training, education, and hands on experience with clients form all over the world, I have come to know just how much our body is fighting for us, not against us. This program contains the blueprint for walking back home to ourselves and finding safety in who we are once again.
